If you are having trouble finding the Amalfi Coast on a map, it is located between the towns of Napoli and Salerno, although the actual Amalfi Coast doesn’t start until you are well around the bend of the coast south of Napoli. This delicate part of the Italian coast is bathed in warm breezes off of the Med during most of the year, which makes traveling here a possibility no matter what month is displayed on the calendar. When most folks consider visiting this area, the first concern is finding a warm bed to sleep in. You won’t find many chain hotels in the Amalfi Coast area, it is simply too rural, but you will find a host of wonderful bed and breakfasts that cater to tourists year round.
